Fighting Toe Nail Fungus with Bleach

While there are many toe nail fungus natural remedies on the market today, one of the most interesting is the use of bleach. The idea I think is that bleach is a disinfectant and is therefore probably good for treating fungus problems. Another thought is that common chlorine bleach is used to kill bacteria, molds and mildew around the house so it must be a good fungal fighter as well.

It's understood you want information on treating toe nail fungus with bleach if only because any treatment plan is long term. Killing off toenail fungus takes weeks and sometimes months of daily treatments and you want some assurance that using a bottle of Clorox that was bought for washing your clothes will help clear your toe nail fungal problem and is safe to use.

While there are many people who of posted comments on forums and throughout the Web that claim that chlorine bleach can cure nail fungus, consider that it is extremely strong coming right out of the bottle. Commercial laundries use chlorine bleach is a 1% solution.

A typical chlorine bleach soak will end up damaging your clothes along with the four or carpet. Even the most careful person can expect to damage some of their personal affects simply because of the number treatments required. Bleach As a Toe Nail Fungus Treatment:

The way fungus on a toe nail is cured, no matter what's used is to grow healthy nail and remove the old, fungus infected nail as it grows out. The key is to protect the newly grown nail from getting infected with the fungus.

Any toe nail fungus treatment or product that does NOT use a two step process to kill the fungus AND then protect the new nail growth is not a complete solution!
